Matt Rich is an artist who creates paper, canvas, and linen works that are sharply intelligent and always surprising. With the colors and shapes of Frank Stella, and the geometry of a De Stijl painter, Rich swirls colors across the page, creating undulating waves that require the viewer to closely follow each line as it doubles back and changes.
